That's what I have on the eTrex Vista HCx. And I do reset it before each ride. Just done another ride. eTrex reports 404m. Bikeradar gives me 337m. Robbed again :(

Minimum distance
Also who would set the min disance, a 10 mile ride might be short for one person but a longer ride for someone else. Getting on the bike can be the biggest challenge sometimes.
