Too right, Jim. Freezing, damp, drizzly, but with 4 days to go and 2000m to climb I'm damn well going out. That's what challenges are all about - and this month's is spot on.

Cheers, managed it despite all those pathetic 5 mile commutes ;)

    Nowheresville :-(

Too cold here for me to make any impact at all.

    Roll-on the summer edition ;-)

    Thank you, JD.

Today was "fun". (I'm a hardrider because...)  8 miles in and one of my front gear cable snapped. Limped back on 3 gears via the bike shop. Thank the Lord for my 28 tooth front cog (not up with the lingo) which I've not used since climbing out of Fowey last summer. And to cap it all had a slow puncture. Was prepared to go out again on the wife's bike or spend the evening holed up in a candlelit shed like Caractacus Potts but thankfully the log said I'd made it with 29m to spare. I feel very pleased with myself.

And thanks again to the site for the excellent challenge.

    Now where ARE those candles?

Thanks JD, done it with a couple of days to spare in the end.
