On Sunday 2nd June 2013 Help for Heroes will be making their presence known in London. Thousands of cyclists, who will have ridden their bikes from all corners of the country and from abroad, will meet at Blackheath and cycle together in a staged mass ride into central London in support of our wounded.
The ‘Dawn Raid’ sportive will set off from Tedworth House, Wiltshire, between 2am-3am in order to reach Blackheath between 10am-11am. With limited numbers, this is a unique ride, so if you are interested we recommend you book your place fast.
Dawn Raid is designed for confident cyclists who enjoy an adventure that comes with night-time riding and thrive in a physical challenge. We recommend you sign up if you can put in some quality training and by June 2013 can comfortably ride 12-14 miles per hour.
While some of our riders will be loyal H4H supporters, we welcome all newcomers at Help for Heroes, irrespective of their fundraising experience. We’ll teach you all you need to know about fundraising, so all you need is enthusiasm and an appetite for a challenge.
